Service Category: Technical & Operational Support

Keeping energy assets running requires the right people and the right capabilities available when and where you need them. Oaservs provides three complementary field support services: inspection and maintenance, machine shop work, and the provision of qualified field personnel to supplement your on-site team.

Keeping energy assets running requires the right people and the right capabilities available when and where you need them. Oaservs provides three complementary field support services: inspection and maintenance, machine shop work, and the provision of qualified field personnel to supplement your on-site team.

Overview

These services are designed to fill operational gaps with experienced technicians on site for a defined period, a component machined to specification, or a systematic inspection programme to keep your assets within safe operating limits. We work within your existing operations structure, fitting around your schedules and reporting to your team on the ground.

What We Provide

Inspection & Maintenance Services

We carry out structured inspection and maintenance programmes on oil and gas equipment and assets by identifying deterioration, verifying operational condition, and executing corrective or preventive maintenance work as required.

  • Scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Corrective maintenance and repairs
  • Equipment condition assessments
  • Inspection reports and maintenance records
  • HSE-compliant execution on all jobs
  • Recommendations for asset life extension

Machine Shop Services

When standard replacement parts are unavailable, lead times are too long, or a component needs to be modified to fit a specific application, our machine shop capability provides a practical local solution. We fabricate, modify, and recondition metal parts to your exact specifications.

  • Custom part fabrication to specification
  • Component modification and adaptation
  • Worn or damaged part reconditioning
  • Turning, milling, and drilling operations
  • Urgent turnaround for breakdown situations
  • Dimensional verification and quality check

Provision of Field Personnel

When your team needs reinforcement, we supply qualified field personnel who can integrate with your existing team and contribute from day one. Personnel are deployed on defined assignments with clear scope and reporting lines.

  • Technicians and field operators
  • Short-term and project-based deployment
  • Personnel matched to your scope and requirements
  • HSE-aware and site-ready on arrival
  • Works under your supervision and protocols
  • Scalable — one person or a full team

What You Receive

Across all three field support service lines, every engagement closes with:

  • A written record of work performed, findings, and outcomes
  • HSE compliance confirmation for all on-site activities
  • For machine shop jobs: dimensional verification and quality confirmation before delivery
  • For personnel provision: a deployment summary covering assignment scope, duration, and work completed
  • Recommendations for follow-up actions where relevant

Combined Engagements: Field support services are frequently combined with our Wellhead Services or Logistics offering. If your project requires multiple service lines, for example, a maintenance visit supported by heavy equipment and supplementary personnel, we can coordinate all elements under a single engagement. Contact us to discuss your full scope.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Can you combine inspection, machine shop, and personnel services in a single engagement?

Yes, and this is often the most efficient way to work. If a maintenance visit identifies a component that needs machining, or if you need additional personnel on site during an inspection programme, we coordinate all elements under one engagement. You deal with one team and one point of contact. Describe your full scope when you contact us, and we will structure the most practical arrangement.

Our inspection and maintenance teams work on oil and gas field equipment, including wellhead assemblies, surface production equipment, pipelines, valves, pumps, and mechanical systems on site. If you have a specific asset or equipment type in mind, share the details with us, and we will confirm whether it falls within our current capability before committing to the scope.

In most cases, yes. Parts are brought to our machine shop facility in N’Djamena where the work is carried out. For new fabrications, you provide the drawing or dimensional specification and we manufacture to that. For reconditioning or modification of an existing part, we inspect it on receipt, confirm feasibility, and agree on the scope before starting work. If transport of the part is an issue, our logistics team can assist with collection and return delivery.

Yes. Urgent turnaround is something we specifically accommodate for breakdown situations. Call us immediately with the part details, dimensions, and material specification. We will assess what we need to proceed, confirm a realistic turnaround time, and prioritise the job. The sooner you contact us, the faster we can move.

We supply field technicians, mechanical operators, and support personnel for oil and gas site operations. When you contact us with a personnel requirement, provide a description of the role, the skills or experience required, your site location, and the assignment duration. We will match the right person to your scope and confirm availability before proceeding. We do not place people who are not suited to the job.

Personnel supplied by Oaservs work under your direct supervision and follow your site’s chain of command, safety protocols, and work procedures. They are there to supplement your team. We remain the employer of record and handle all administrative matters on our side, but the day-to-day direction of the work is yours. This keeps accountability clean and integration straightforward.

Contact us at contact@oaservs.com or call (+235) 85 15 45 15 with a description of what you need; whether it is a maintenance job, a machined part, or personnel for a specific role. Include your site location, timeline, and any technical details you have available. We will respond within 24 hours with a path forward.
